Frequently Asked Questions

Although we feel that we have created one of the easiest products to install and use, we understand that some people like to review documentation before proceeding. Below you will find answers to some of the common questions we have recivied. We recommend reviewing the Getting Started Information if this is your first use.

If you cannot find something, please let us know and we will be happy to find it for you.


  1. I've connected my Dynadjust to my computer, what should happen next.
  2. I connected the Dynadjust device to my computer and nothing happens. The device just says “charging”.
  3. I get the following error when I try to connect - "The dynadjust port appears to be used by another program"
  4. Why do I have 3 springs in my box?

     

     

     

     

    1. Each time you connect the Dynadjust device to your computer the sync software should automatically start and attempt to connect with the OrthoNeuro web site to upload exercise information.

    The first dialog box that opens will ask for your userid and password. If this is your first time connecting, enter it now.

    Once you've entered your userid and password a dialog box should appear to let you know that the upload was successful or that no new data was available to update.

     

    Sync Step 2

     

    Once you close that dialog box (by clicking on ok) the unit should display a charging indicator.

    2. I connected the Dynadjust device to my computer and nothing happens. The device just says “charging”.

     

    Each time you connect the unit to your computer a dialog box prompting you to login should appear. If this doesn't happen perform the following:

    • Verify that you are using a certified operating system. Windows XP, Vista or 7 (16 bit version).
    • With the unit connecting to your computer start the software manually by going to Start, All Programs, Dynadjust, Dynadjust. The sync software should now prompt you to connect. If this doesn't happen you need to reinstall the Dynadjust sync software.

    3. I get the following error when I try to connect - "The dynadjust port appears to be used by another program"

    This happens when Windows assigns an incorrect communications port. To correct this problem:

    Open Windows Control Panel

    Select System and click on Device Manager.

     

    Under Ports (COM & LPT) place your mouse on Dynadjust, right click the mouse and select properties.

     

     

    Click on the Port Settings tab and select Advanced.

     

     

    Select COM 3 from the dropdown menu and click OK and then OK.

    Close Device Manager.

    Dynadjust unit should now be able to sync.

    4. Why do I have 3 springs in my box?

    Your kit contains 3 springs. A Black, Red and Yellow spring. The springs are used to increase or decrease the compression of the device.

  • Black - Stiff
  • Red - Medium
  • Yellow - Soft
